Littelfuse Supplier Self Survey
What and why
Potential new suppliers are required to complete the Supplier Self Survey and to send it back with a copy of the firm's QS9000, TS16949 or ISO9000 certificate. This information is reviewed by the Littelfuse Quality Assurance and is used to plan the comprehensive on-site audit of suppliers who "pass" this first step in the supplier qualification process.
How and when
Prospective suppliers identified by Littelfuse's Supplier Quality Engineer and Manager of Global Purchasing are asked to complete the Supplier Self Survey. This comprehensive survey of the supplier's business, quality systems and practices can be completed electronically, or in hard copy format. The completed survey is returned to Littelfuse for review prior to the site audit.
